I'd rather own Apple than . . .

   

Poland.  Cuz it's worth more.  Than the whole country.

I'm curious where they got those figures. The CIA World Factbook puts Poland's GDP for 2011 at $531 billion.

Besides, I don't think it's fair to compare market capitalization to GDP. It took 30 years for Apple to get to half a trillion; Poland's GDP is one year's output.

I don't think I'll be letting CNN Money do my taxes any more.

Poland has better beer, too (Okocim isn't quite as good as the best IPAs, but still pretty darn good).
